l'idea e' un po' quella anche se manca la lotta a terra, per quanto ho letto le critiche a questa disciplina sono sopratutto relative alla scarsa importanza che si da' ai colpi con le armi, ossia se fosse una simulazione di combattimento senza armatura non potrebbero prendersi tutti quei fendenti e se l'idea e' quella di in combattimento con armature a piastre sarebbe piu' utile usare le tecniche di spada in arme storiche e magari una spada a due mani od un'arma da botta, spiegano che in realta' anche se indossano armature a piastre l'intento sarebbe quello di immaginare di usare protezioni basso medioevali e che anche se non e' filologico e' un vantaggio dal punto della sicurezza.

non credo che il tuo amico faccia esattamente questo "battle of the nations" e' un nuovo regolamento, negli USA ed in Russia che hanno piu' praticanti cercano di reclutare gente dalla scherma storica che poi dopo vari tornei rappresentera' il porpio Paese.

guarda,non ricordo con esattezza,ma so che ogni anno va in un qualche paese dell'est a fare sta cosa,non ricordo quale.il nome della manifestazione è quello,lo ricordo bene perchè mentre me ne parlava si stava facendo la corazza di maglia...comunque chiedo meglio.

la prossima settimana lo dovrei andare a trovare (abita ad un centinaio di km da casa mia) e chiedo maggiori delucidazioni,sperando di saperle riportare fedelmente iin quanto vera chiavica in materia :)

comunque me ne parlava con entusiasmo per le mazzate "full contact" che si tiravano :)

grazie aspetto info allora, sempre che non sia un disturbo e' solo curiosita', per il "full contact" la maggior parte di questi tornei adotta questa modalita' non e' una cosa indicativa di una disciplina.  :)
