Uscirà il 9 aprile negli USA un documentario sulla storica band The Doors, dal titolo When You're Strange.
Diretto da Tom Di Cillo, con la voce narrante di Johnny Depp, il film avrà una distribuzione limitata ma sarà realizzato in gran parte con sequenze inedite, e con la collaborazione dei membri del gruppo Ray Manzarek, John Densmore e Robby Krieger, nonché degli eredi di Jim Morrison.

Manzarek lo ha definito "un antidoto a The Doors", il film del '91 di Oliver Stone, mai apprezzato dal tastierista, fondatore della band assieme a Morrison.
